1. Who we are
These terms apply to bookings made with Scenic Iceland ehf., registered in Iceland. Our contact details are on the contact page.
2. Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed once payment is complete and you have received a confirmation email with a voucher. Prices are shown in euros and charged in the currency stated at checkout; your bank may apply its own conversion.
3. Cancellation by you
Day tours: free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Within 24 hours, the booking is non-refundable. Multi-day and private trips carry the terms shown on their own page at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation by us
We may cancel or change a departure for weather, road closures, or safety reasons. In that case you may re-book on any later date or take a full refund. We are not liable for onward costs such as flights or accommodation.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for arriving on time, for bringing suitable clothing and footwear, and for telling us before departure about any medical condition that affects your participation. Guides may refuse participation where safety requires it; no refund is due in that case.
6. Insurance
Travel insurance is not included and we strongly recommend it. Activities on glaciers and in ice caves carry inherent risk.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Icelandic law.
8. Complaints and governing law
Please raise any complaint with us first, in writing, within 30 days. These terms are governed by Icelandic law.
